The Brooding Italian - Kiama

This café has many vegan options, but we were a bit disappointed by the quality of our foods. The Tofu dish had several good ingredients but came with a sweet chili sauce from a bottle that tastes the bowl quite artificial and too sweet. Too bad they had no homemade sauces, the food would have tasted much more beautiful. The cauliflower was good.

My partner and I loved this café! The pancakes were really delicious and came with fenfloss, fruit and ice cream. Hash Browns were vegan and the pommes could be served with vegan aioli. Both were crispy and so good! There were several articles on the menu that were labeled vegan, making things easier, and the staff checked with me about the Fee Floss, as it said, "can contain milk", indicating a attention to detail that always calm my mind in a new restaurant. The coffee was some of the best we ever had! The staff was very friendly and the service was great.

Brooding Italian is a great place to find vegan food on their menu. You can also make other dishes if you ask So good to have a choice you want to try them all. I tried the salad bowl with Tofu and the falafel burger with beautiful sweet potato chips. The chocolate brownies and pancakes with chocolate sauce and vegan ice cream are amazing. Very good value and excellent food and choice. One of the ladies working here is vegan, so you can be sure what you order is vegan as well. Under new ownership last year and a change for us vegans for the better. Parking is simply either on the street or a parking lot on the back of the café.

Beautiful stylish,well appointed, welcoming cafe. Great decor with a warm and friendly greeting. Whilst we waited the lovely owner brought over a delicious muffin on the house!! This muffin was to die for. Thank you and we will be back A

I love going to this place it has great food and very nice coffee also the staff are always friendly they greet you when you arrive and they say goodbye to you when you leave my mate had a ham& cheese, tomato toasted sandwich on rye bread that look so good that I was going to order one too
