Authentic Thai northeastern food. This is a kind of flavor you only found in the local. Highly recommended.
Food was generally ok, but some items were not so fresh anymore. Also some dishes get just reheated in a microwave, which, imho is a no go for a restaurant. On the other hand, staff was very friendly and nice. Prices are acceptable for the quality served.
I came to search for delicious Guy Yarn and Somtum. The shop is very friendly, and the owner of the Somtum craftsman is very friendly. This shop is not for foreigners. It is OK if you rely on the three-point set of Guyan, Somtum, and Khao Nhao. Somtam is not dry, but is using fresh chili pepper, so I felt that the taste is lively, and it was fresh and I was the first to eat. cy is usually cy. I have been to this somtam place several times over the year. The food is consistently excellent. The dishes are very local with some Issan dishes that even many Thais find exotic (e.g., raw beef with blood and bile juice). The owner is a friendly chap who worked overseas and can make recommendations if you are linguistically challenged. Definitely worth a detour.
