Jose's Latin Food - Key West

Honestly the service isn't great. They just seem rude and irritated that you're eating there. Never asked if we needed more drinks. And added a 13 dollar service change for being there.

Good food, good flavor and good presentation. I could only suggest a better atmosphere inside so that it is in tune with the good food they prepare.! ?

I ordered a delivery of tongue in sauce. One piece was fresh, but the other was overcooked, as if it were old. The beans were sour (the water in the beans was white). Unfortunately, the quality has gone down a lot, because we have never had this problem before.

The plantains was very good. The tacos were amazing. Our waitress was helpful with the menu, and we had a nice conversation about the history of the restaurant. I was craving for all of the food.

This little dive off of Truman hit the spot for me this past Wednesday afternoon. The Fish Tacos and the salsa were refreshing and hot and just enough, in other words excellent. Get the corn Tortilla, you wont regret it. I was not necessarily in a hurry but, this place is a reminder that life down in the Keys is a little slower and while the service was not terribly quick or attentive, the food was worth the wait. This is a great place to go for a quick bit reasonable prices and very nice folks. I will certainly be back. Parking: Parking is hit and miss in this area. I road a bike to this place and so I could tie it to any posts available.
