Duetto Pizza And Gelato - Key West

Duettos. My sister and I had a great trip to Key West, FL. We went a LOT and one of our food stops was in Duetto's pizza. Reviewed as the best pizzeria in Key West, we couldn't resist. Since it was a slow Saturday, I was nervous to order the discs sitting in the display case, although there was a beautiful variety. Just like I could have got a fresh slice, it would have been to order a whole pizza that didn't happen. Ariel has the standard cupboard. I ordered the Sicily. We learned that Sicily was a new disc for her... but really enjoyed the standard cheese disc. Cheese Pizza: The crust was STELLAR, flavored and slightly seasoned cheese. Crunchy, although reheated. The whole taste was still there. I thought I was adventurous, trying the Sicilian, but the cheese was missing. You can see it looks pretty bland, and it tasted the same. Although the pane was not super thick, it was still well cooked. I don't mind the charred crust. They said they were working on this recipe, so I give them a lot of credit. I liked the crust! But sauce/cheese does not really have much taste, but great to know that they are working on it!!

Best pizza I have ever tasted. It was like being back in Italy . I was surprise at the pricing was low considering the product.

Good pizza and freshly made pizza. It was all really great. Very friendly employees. They just need more places to sit.

If you have to stop for a moment to cool off, enjoy real gelato here. Her adffogato with a puppet game of tiramisu flavored gelato was a treat. Their sandwiches are served on wedge-shaped Focaccia and filled with plenty of green. A good choice. The staff was good at providing plenty of water. Very limited seats.

Pizza was delicious. Turn around. Nice staff. It's just super tiny. Two small tables and maybe six chairs. Not much space. Plan to go. Does Cornmeal soil so corn allergy people caution.
