In ancient Greek myths, Ambrosia is sometimes the food or drink of the Greek gods, often represented as an imparting longevity or immortality who consumes it. My wife and I love sushi and discovered Ambrosia Japanese sushi restaurant while on the way to Casa Marina for an event. Ambrosia opened in 1998 with elegant décor in a prime location and offers a wonderful and fabulous selection of Japanese dishes.
Here on our honeymoon in May. Absolutely wonderful. I still want Ambrosia. The toll is freshly prepared and the restaurant is beautiful.
Absolutely trying. For vegetarians there are pretty good options. But I'm not a fan of this place because of food. It's because of one of his staff Dado V. He's probably the best participant I met in my life. Food: The food isn't so great except a few things. We went for Yakinasu (drilled Japanese eggplant served with ginger soy sauce and dried bonito flakes) and vege futo rolls (Asparagus, Avocado, Gurke, Gourd shave, pickled burdock, picked daikon radishes) in appetizers, followed by Vegetable Tempura Entree, followed by a Gingersame Icecreamert. Yakinasu was a bit bland (also with ginger soy sauce) and the presentation was not appetizing at all. The flavors simply did not irritate. Vege Futo roles were great. The flavors were quite a lot of space on and with spicy hot mustard sauce, it was a great combination. Vegetable Tempura had quite the same problem as Yakinasu. The vegetables were pretty good, but the flour coating lacked the flavors and any kind of spices (salt, pepper whatever). However, the star of meals were ice creams. Excellent presentation and even more the flavors, especially the Black Sesame. The harmony of fruits and ice creams came really good. Service: The type Dado V visited us was amazing. While the service in relation to timings was on site, what I loved most, his real interest in participating in the customers and run them through the service that was quite Japanese in nature and a little different from what you see in traditional American restaurants. With Japanese meal is the authentic way to eat with Chiffel. In other restaurants I have visited if you are not comfortable with Chiffel, they give you easy knives and fork. In our case, we asked the same thing as we had never eaten with clinks. He gave a quick crash course in the convenient food with chiopsticks with little support to keep the sticks and demonstrate the finger positions that help us to eat comfortably. It is quite difficult to do such things without insulting customers and he was good at it. In addition, he came more professional. Great service!!! Ambience: Very good. Very high. On the left you have a bar and a seating area on the right. There are also chairs arranged around the kitchen area where customers can sit and have their meals. I'd say a pretty romantic place if you want a date. Lighting (quite dim) reflects the romantic atmosphere. Overall, a definitely visited place is just two blocks from the southernmost point and a block from South Beach.
Our party of 4 enjoyed a very delicious dinner with a beautiful ambience. We enjoyed Lobster Puttenesca, Lasagna and Black Grouper, while all the articles were perfectly prepared. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our table.
Memorable Sushi. I went here about 2 years ago, while on honeymoon. The sushi was fresh and delicious, service was a little pokey if not inattentive. Was a little overpriced, but for the area. not bad. I would go back. Two paws up.
