Hobo's - Key Largo

This local restaurant has a nice variety of menu options. I ordered the fish sandwich, which was simple yet wonderfully flavored. The wheat toast was a pleasant surprise, as many places serve it on traditional bread or a hoagie roll that can overwhelm the fish. I appreciated the wheat bread, which allowed the flavor of the fish to shine through. We also tried the tuna appetizer, which tasted very fresh and was perfectly seasoned. I didn’t get a chance to visit the bathroom, so I can't provide a rating for that.

We brought in our freshly caught tuna, and they prepared it beautifully at a fantastic price. Everything was delicious, including the side dishes. The conch fritter appetizer was also exceptional. I only wish we had room for dessert!

As avid food enthusiasts, we’ve dined at ten restaurants across Florida, and this one stands out as the best. I’ve reviewed over 100 restaurants, and only three have earned a perfect 10/10 rating. Cody provided exceptional service, and the Key West chicken was fantastic. The coconut yam was the best we've ever tasted, and we lived in Hawaii for six months, so that’s saying a lot! If I could, I’d give it a 6 out of 5. I was initially a bit intimidated by the seafood-heavy menu (usually seafood restaurants lack variety), but I was pleasantly surprised.

This place is really a hidden jewel! On all our excursions to Key Largo we are looking for a restaurant on the water for obvious reasons. This time we tried this great place right on the highway, just not the water. Cody, our waiter was the best! Nice, informative and always fill our drinks! Tuna Nachos are delicious and the onion Laaf was an interesting Spin Onion rings also tasted. Lobster shrimp po boy was huge and filled. Search for a great place This is it! It'll be back on my Must-Fo when I return!

What a great lunch stop on the way to Key West. The place was crowded but service was fast and professional. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. I had the Hobo , wife had the lobster bisque and our friend had the Key Lime fish that was delicious. We would definitely recommend this stop on your way by!
