Wetlab - Key Biscayne

The restaurant offers fantastic views, an excellent variety of beers on tap, and a lively college atmosphere.

I love this restaurant. It has amazing sunset views and a wide selection of beers. The bar and kitchen are separated, so you have to place separate orders, which can be a bit inconvenient. However, this is a University of Miami bar that primarily serves the Marine Science school, so they have to follow UM regulations. Unfortunately, they will be closing for late January and February due to COVID, as the school is going back to remote learning.

Located behind the university by the water, this restaurant offers decent food with nothing particularly noteworthy or disappointing. Occasionally, there are enjoyable old timer cover bands performing. The beer selection is average and could benefit from more variety, although they try to keep up with current trends. The highlight of the restaurant is the beautiful beach area in the back.

Was Miami's best kept secret waterfront happy hour spot...but the secret is out. BTW skip the fish and chips they're more like grocery store fish fingers. I would go with the nachos and the fish tacos.
