My wife is vegetarian and each time she has had really flavoursome food . The chef clearly knows their way around a kitchen.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Food was amazing, staff are lovely and attentive. Good wine and good atmosphere amongst the rainforest trees. A very romantic dining option. Like most high end restuarnt the portion sizes aren't big, we had an entree each and a main and that was just enough.
Great venue, excellent service, friendly staff, great selection of meal choices with added flavours enhancing taste sensations to the palate, delicious meals in a 'beachfront ' rainforest environment. Recommend to anyone. Well done 'paperbark restaurant ' at Kewarra Beach Resort. We 'll be back and bring others to your 5* venue.
Beautiful setting. Lovely food. Friendly efficient service. Just the walk from the shady carpark on lush paths to a sumptuous but casual bar lounge setting was a great omen.Only went for lunch, but treated as if we were in a 5 star hotel. We picked a table for four on the corner of the deck, surrounded by soaring paperbarks, and other native plants (plus cute Wallaby with Joey, and other visitors in the leafy garden right next to us). The other two place settings were immediately removed always a good sign. We could see and hear the rocky swimming pool through the trees and glimpses of the beach. Young waitress Eva went out of her way to find out about the ingredients of the interesting dishes. Limited menu ... also a good sign. We shared a Sashimi which we found out was Mahi Mahi. Delightful. For mains had grilled Threadfin salad very tasty, and the Beer battered Blue Threadfin with mini salad and hand cut chips. Salad lovely and herby. Blue Threadfin delicate and tasty lovely light batter. Hand cut chips (chunks) were awesome. Washed down by a chilled Tin Cottage Sav Blanc from NZ nice Gooseberry capsicum flavours in a proper ice filled wine stand. All moderately priced. A stroll through the lush grounds and along the beach afterwards led us to the Shack, where you can sit and have a coffee and watch the waves. Do yourself a favour when visiting Cairns and chill out in this great restaurant.
Very nice meal, lovely spot and well priced. Bar area is also really nice
