Pricey! You pay for the views and convenience. Not too many options for Ketchikan so you will pay higher prices. We did it just to say we ate Alaskan crab. Next time we will just eat and order on the ship.
We are from out of town and it was our first time eating here. The food and atmosphere deserved 4 stars. We all really enjoyed the fried fish and french fries. And although the restaurant was filled, our waitress was engaged with us and our requests. However, I asked our server if I could pay for a bun so I could use the bread to make the fried fish into a sandwich. Rather than accommodating a simple request (I offered to pay for the bun), the server stated, “The manager said if you want a fish sandwich, I would need to order one, they don’t give out buns.” For this response, my overall rating went from a 4.5 to 2 stars. Accommodating a simple request from a first time patron, will not only give you a good Google review but customers will keep coming back.In response to the restaurants comment below, I was not aware nor was it explained to me by the waitress (as this is my first time at the restaurant), that I could have ordered a fish sandwich that had the same fish as the Fish Chips order. If this had been explained to me by my waitress or was clear on the menu, then I would have ordered the fish sandwich (since that’s what I wanted).
There is good food here and the staff was excellent. The place was quite busy with three cruise ships in port but they handled the crowd effectively. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for the 4 of us to be seated. The kitchen staff must have been exceptional as neither our party nor others around us had to wait long for their food.Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family place.
We had the smoked salmon dip, crab fries and 1/2 Dungeness crab. Food was fabulous service excellent! Highly recommend
