The Chuckwagon - Kerrville

I tried some amazing gummy bears that you can only find in Louisiana. Everything I tasted was delicious, but the food was truly the best I've ever had. I'm not sure why there’s so much talk about their hours; they open around 11 and have a big illuminated open sign. Plus, they even have a drive-through, which is a nice touch. The country ambiance is really cool too!

I stopped by today for my first burger, and I can't believe I didn't try this place sooner! It was incredibly delicious and totally worth the seven minutes it takes to prepare something homemade and flavorful. I'll definitely be coming back!

If I had a chance to give them 10 stars, I would. nice atmosphere, great music playlist and perfect eating. Last night I had a chopped bark sandwich with potato salad and it was delicious. assuming the owner came out and sat with my father, sister and I couldn't be more friendly. close to all my family lives in louisiana and that is where I was born. I grew up on gumbo, étouffée and ek. today during lunch we sat again and I ordered the garnelen etouffée. they had the perfect amount of seasoned, rice, garnel. it is all perfectly balanced. thanks, chuck. they all have a completely different perspective on how bbq and kajun food should be made. to the next
