Carmine's Italian - Kerrville

On 4/013/22, we began visiting this restaurant regularly, and it truly feels like a part of our family now. The food is incredible, and I've introduced my family to this wonderful place. If you're looking for fantastic food, outstanding service (thanks to Reba), and delightful owners, this is the spot for you. Everything is always delicious! We stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance, and we couldn't be happier. On 1/17/19, we were the only guests when we arrived, but the place began to fill up before we left. The food was exceptional; we tried their pizzas that were packed with flavor. You can really taste the quality of the Italian tomatoes they use—it reminded me of my grandfather's cooking. The garlic knots were delightful, too. My husband ordered the lasagna and loved it. With great service and amazing music, we had a fantastic evening. We will definitely return!

We ordered a 28-inch pizza, and there were six of us sharing it. We ended up taking half of it home because it was so delicious. We also had 12 garlic rolls, which were so tasty that we finished them all!

I've sampled pizza from several places during my time in Kerrville, and as a pizza enthusiast, I believe my opinion holds some weight. Growing up on Modern and Pepe Pizza in New Haven, CT, and having tried pizza in every state along the East Coast, I feel confident in my assessment. This pizza deserves a B grade. It was genuinely tasty; however, the only change I would suggest is to add extra sauce. Even though I requested it, the pizza seemed a bit dry. I know that to get a great pizza, you often have to pay a premium, and overall, I was pleased with what I ordered.

As always Carmines was fantastic. The restaurant is very picturesque and with the Italian music that constantly plays the atmosphere is perfect for every time your hunger. The food is excellent and always delicious. The waiting staff is very friendly, pleasing and knowledgeable about the food in the menu. This is certainly a hidden gem in a city with many restaurants.
