This Restaraunt deserves a 5-star rating! I liked my visit to this place. My guest and I decided we would dive, because there were no customers who invited this visit at our time. This place has a very far to earth. It is definitely a good place to bring family if you like South House cooked meals. This hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is not served all day like some other restaurants that have a similar menu. Close to the entrance door, is a newspaper stand and this place is extremely clean. Since I have never visited this place, I had to take my time reading their menu cards. The cashier was very patient with me and my guest while we jumped through the menus. I ordered a $5, 3 pieces of chicken dinner with one side of macaroni and cheese, potato wedge and a cookie. I think that was a dark chicken that really didn't disturb me. Anyway, my food tasted really good. I loved their homemade cookies because they were fresh, perfect and they melted in my mouth. I will definitely return to this place.

We've been eating a woman for 20 years. You win because of the closure in Tennessee. We found this by chance and my husband wasn't thrilled. The staff was so friendly and nice, the food was on site, the building was clean. We couldn't have asked better. We will return to Duke University during our excursions.

Great food always. I eat here at least once a month and never had a bad experience.
