Fridas Mexican Kitchen And Cantina

We learned about this place after receiving a voucher in the post office. We live in Winston, but decided to try something new and went for it. Oh, my God! This is the cleanest, stylish and upscale Mexican restaurant we've ever seen. The waiting staff wears dress shirts and ties, the cabins are very elegant, and the tables are in a way that gives you decent privacy. The menu had so many choices that it was difficult to choose from. Your chips and salsa were the best we ever tried. Our family of 6 had the carnitas, fajita Chihuahua, arroz con pollo, and steak with chorizo. The food came very fast and everything was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was great, checked us regularly and gave us great tips on the food and portion sizes. The restroom was also immaculate. At the end of the meal the manager (or owner, not sure) came to check if everything was good. You honored the discount coupon without any problems. Prices are slightly higher than what you would pay on average, but then everything here was ABOVE average. I think we redefined Mexican food. Will be visited without hesitation. Great place!

The decor is beautiful! The large wall painting by Frida Kahlo was exquisite. All artworks are something to see. The bar area is beautifully made. The waiting staff was very attentive. The Horchata (travel drink) was good. The Chile poblano was very tasty, but full of seeds. The rice and the beans were delicious. Salsa was excellent.

I live inGreensboro and my children visited this place for the first time. It was wonderful, all the way from the waitress/waxsin, great customer service and very professional. We'll make this trip safe again! Love it!!!

Today my first visit to a friend's recommendation was her second visit. The decor was beautiful, natural--Frida Kahlo artwork. The food was wonderful and plentiful. We shared the shrimp-- they were great! The salsa (cilantro! and chips were fresh and super. We have to see the fresh table page guacamole-fun, and absolutely delicious. It is clobular, and you can tweak your ingredients. Frida is a bit more expensive than your average Tacos link, but I expected that. I'm definitely back!

It 's our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of the menu. The prices were great and the service was as well. This is our new go to place for Mexican food in Kernersville !
