Sirtaki - Kernen im Remstal

This is my criticism from January 2014! At the same time we came just after a group of 4 people. That's why we were lost in the short term when the waiter led this group to the table. The same thing we were discovered by another waiter, who took our friendly and gave our table. Then we sat without doing something in the next 5 minutes. We were surprised to see that another group, who confiscated the neighboring table after us, got the cards more quickly. The richness of the cards was asked for drinks. The food requests were then accepted when they were brought. Although there was a lot of things going on, we would have liked to have a little more attention especially when ordering drinks. So my wife tried to mean three times to a waiter that she would like something else. So the food ordered and eaten as starters: Zaziki and Pitta 3,70 2. To the Zaziki, which tasted very pleasant and serene but unfortunately missed a small bit of pepp, a finely roasted, airy and tasty garlic bread was still served. The Pitta was quite fat but met our taste. As main foods were censored: Aris Platte 13,30 and overbaked gyros in Hausmachersoße 12,90 . In both cases, there were pommes or rice as a choice and a small salad plate that could be dressed on the salad buffet itself. The liver on the Aris plate was very delicate and pleasantly seasoned. The Suzukakia was a little strange. Apparently, it contained brittles. It didn't taste bad, but this gave us a bit of a piece, as it was shown on the map as a hack steak. Souvlaki Spieß was okay. The Gyros unfortunately somewhat rough cut and strongly spiced. Normally, I don't like it, but that's how it was tastefully already very determining on the plate. Unfortunately, a Klecks Zaziki or the like was missing on the Aris.Teller and the two! Onion rings also seemed to have fallen by chance. Made a somewhat sweet impression and was not made up by the appealing plate. The overcrowded Gyros was then almost a bit of a pure fall. Also there the gyro was too coarse cut and strongly spiced. Unfortunately it was also a trace too long in the oven and the cheese was partly already hard. Nothing was to be discovered or tasted from a sauce, as always stored. That's how it got quite dry. The chosen pommes as a supplement were qualitatively i.O. but quantitative...naja...very manageable see picture To the salads: There was a neat and well-made herb salad. Leaf salads and cucumbers had to be made with one of the two sauces offered similar to French and Thousand Island. I missed a simple housewife dressing or a Vinaigrette. Of course, I also tried the potato salad and can settle it in the gastronomic rear middle field. It was still the choice of Mixed Pickles and another noodle salad. The latter was not costed by me. Nobody needs that! At the bottom of the line, food was slightly disappointing. We haven't seen an aperitif or digestif. In some cases we were able to observe that some tables were the same and some did not... I've never seen that before in Greek. The ambience The main room is rel. large and well furnished. The tables were covered with white table cloths and runners. However, one sits close to one another, which was unpleasant. Couldn't you be in the neighboring table without rising? I would really suggest a somewhat looser facility. However, despite a high level of noise, it was still to be considered pleasant. Cleanliness It was clean! Tables were immediately cleaned and re-covered when changing. The toilets were clean and well maintained, although visually not very appealing.

We enjoyed a relaxed meal with mixture of Greek and German food. Friendly waiter and complimentary glass of ouzo to complete the evening. Would recommend and will go back next time we are visiting Stetten.

Very good dishes from Greek and international cusine. Excellent service always with a smile and very good Greek wines.
