My wife and I ate at Ammos twice during our week in Agios Georgios. Like most of the tavernas in the town, the food was both excellent and very reasonably priced. We shared a fish platter as a main on our first visit, which was €28 and could have easily fed four. We didn’t get anywhere near finishing it, but the lovely owners kindly boxed up the remainder for us to take home. The mushrooms we had to start were delicious, likewise the homemade baklava for dessert. We returned for lunch on our last day and both had the chicken gyros, which was very generous and delicious for only €5 each. We’d definitely eat here again if we return to Agios Georgios, which I’m sure we will.

The seafood dish for 2 people was very good and much. Our son loved the kids pizza. Service was fast and friendly, although restaurant was full and busy. Solid choice for a relaxed dinner near the beach.
