Rowenas - Kentville

The view is stunning and the service is excellent, but I was disappointed with the food. The salmon lacked flavor (possibly frozen) and was overcooked, just like the rest of the dishes. It seems like everything was precooked and then reheated. I expected more freshness from a high-end resort.

My wife surprised me with a two-day stay at this vacation cabin and we didn't know what to expect. We stayed in the rustic Fenn cabin and were pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was - so calm and relaxing. We enjoyed everything from the whirlpool tub to the wood-burning fireplace. The surroundings are beautifully maintained and we loved the restored upper pub. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, it felt like we knew them personally. We have already booked our stay for New Year's and can't wait to go back.

I visited this restaurant many years ago in a rustic cabin and loved it. I recently returned to the same cabin and it was just as relaxing with its large fireplace and amenities. It was great to be in a place without technology. The restaurant, while not as beautiful as the main house, had a very lovely atmosphere and location. The menu was varied and the food was excellent. The service was also fantastic. I would highly recommend staying in either a rustic or modern cabin at this establishment.

Great weekend for couples. quiet, beautiful landscape, well furnished rooms. restaurant had fabulous eating and wonderful service. get the cuddle up package if you can save yourself. will definitely go back!

Rowenas is located at the Sandpiper Resort Golf Course. Its on the Harrison River and the surrounding are beautiful. We stayed in the Inn, the original Family Home. The room was small but comfortable. We walked through the woods to a viewing area on...the river. Had lunch the day we arrived and it was great, soup of the day and a burger. The free breakfast the next morning gave you your pick of any breakfast menu item. We chose the Eggs Benny and it was first class. The server was great as well, friendly and attentive. Would love to return and rent one of their cabins for a few days.
