Streaky Gin - Kensington and Chelsea

I visited Streaky Gin a few times because it was conveniently located near my home. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, but the tables are right on Gloucester Road, which is not the most picturesque setting due to the traffic. The menu is limited but the food is well-prepared. However, the service is slow and frustrating. It appears that the kitchen struggles to keep up with orders despite the small size of the restaurant.

On Friday night, I visited this charming restaurant located at the top of Palace Gate and Kensington Road. It is a quirky diner with a beautiful terrace outside, situated next to the Japanese restaurant Koi. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed. I enjoyed a delicious and creative taco filled with fish and flavorful ingredients. The highlight of the evening were the cocktails, specifically the Hyde Park Streaker made with Bombay Sapphire, St Germain, champagne, jalapeño, cucumber, and basil. It was so good that I had to order a second one! Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience and I highly recommend giving it a try.
