I love books, but I also love to browse time and in the rule when I moved into york square I am a woman on a mission, with a full shopping list. so, a invite to meet with a group of bloggers and spend some time in the bookstore at the corner of the square, pockets before coming to dinner in manicomio seemed like a great idea.
That was a pleasant surprise. we got hungry and stumbled on this place almost accidentally we ordered olive, brot and burrata. the olives were very delicious, but the burrata was the star of the appetizer show! very creamy and with excellent taste and served unusual on a bed of prosciutto for the net we have 2 pasta dishes: ravioli filled with pumpkin parpadela with wild pork! both were very good we have also accompanied that with a bottle of pinot grigio for the desert we enjoyed a quite tasty tiramisu total bill for 2 of us was £55 all in all good Italian restaurant and will recommend them to try it when they are in the neighbourhood...read more
Came here for a quick coffee. the service was error-free, the seat outside was intimate and warm enough with the outside heaters. coffee itself was pretty good.
We have our lunch in the flowering outdoor area in the sun under the sun umbrellas, watching people on the menu, very delightful and my sea red thunfischsalat was so refreshing and tasty
As we took our seat in the buzzy surrounds of Manicomio in Duke of York Square , I literally expected someone from the cast of Made in Chelsea to step in the door at any minute...it had that perfect location, look and atmosphere that you see on the show all the time... Mr S and I had come down to the King's Road at the weekend to pick up any last minute new shoes dresses bikinis necessities for our trip to South Africa. Honestly, I was so excited for our trip that I was nearly bursting at the seams.
