Kenosha Yacht Club And Grille

Here to a baby shower and to say that this place is a hidden gem is one under test. if you find yourself, read this comment just go. this place is so fantastic from the place of the event to the amazing staff.

It's so crazy that I've lived in kenosha for 30 years and never knew this jewel existed. I was hired to decorate a baby shower at this weekend and I was totally blown away. first the manager was so qualified, he was extremely helpful and simply incredibly pleasant to say the least. the party room was absolutely beautiful and made my job super easy. the next day I came back to lunch with my husband and he was also satisfied. we will certainly serve this facility more often. I loved the manager as well as the bartender and this little business is what kenosha needs more!

If I could give less star, I would. at this last weekend we planned a surprise party at the yacht club. I personally spent 8 hours between Friday and Saturday decoration for this party. there were several other people who invested their time and money in the position to happen this event. there were numerous family members of the person whose birthday it was that drove for hours as they lived in other states to make it this event. within 4 hours of this party that the owners came to the yacht club and told us we had to turn off and throw everyone out. if they are asked why they would not make any information. the manager who has helped to put this party together has worked incredibly hard to book and promote events for this facility that is working at the end only to their gunsten, as they earn money during a slow time of the year. they shut it off without reason, is the most unprofessional I have experienced in a facility before. they have over 50 paying customers in their restaurant and they expect that without warning to throw all out? I'll never walk in this facility again and I really hope that the owners take a lection in the treatment of their employees and customers with respect!

The terrible service and eating were below the average. barely all guests, but the server are extremely overwhelmed. we sat over an hour before we even got our appetizers and when the food came out, it was extremely burned and the cheese on the side had a hard layer on top. we asked for a new one and never received. the food came out and our appetizer never did after the server assured us it would be “balanced”. also got the wrong drink and was assured again, it would be “balanced” but I sat without drinking for 40 minutes.’ that eating was under average broth was stale and burger was burned and salty. the chairs outside were also extremely unpleasant. that was my first time I came here and it'll be sad my last. it is a shame that it is a great situation.

Beautiful setting. Needs some work in the service area. But food is worth the wait.
