I attended Kenora McDonalds as I have many times in the past. I used the new computer to place my order and attended the cashier to pay. The bill was $10.93 and I gave the cashier a twenty and a looney. She gave me five cents change and I informed her I gave her a twenty. She adamantly informed me I gave her a ten. I explained to her I only had twenties in my wallet at which time she was very rude treating me as though I was trying to get away with ten dollars. Manager came on scene and after explanation had cashier give me correct change. I sat with my wife and started eating and cashiers could be overheard discussing with other employees they would see if I got away with a ten a cash out. Very embarrassing and extremely rude employee. I think I should have demanded they do cash at that time and ask for an apology. Doubt I will be back
We went in for a couple of cups of coffee to go and were treated like dirt, girl serving us was rude and very unhappy. If you like being treated that way its your place.
We stopped here because my 9 yr old granddaughter wanted to. The sandwiches tasted ok but I am not convinced they are entirely good for you.
McD's has always been known as fast and affordable. This has officially changed. The prices are higher then many sit down restaurants and the service is very very slow. Accuracy has also declined! You would think that getting everyone's orders in would be how to get faster service. Instead it has seriously clogged up the speed of service. The kitchen can still only make the food at the speed it can make things at. Not impressed with the new ordering system. First the advertised sales were not on the price list on the self serve menu. Then no receipt was printed and the number given by the machine was incorrect. No smiles seen in the staff that appeared stressed and rushed and under pressure as there were about 15 or more orders on the board all the time. Took about 20 of standing in the lobby waiting for my food and finding a table was no problem. Finding a clean table was the challenge. There were very few customers eating there. So I gave a three rating but considered lower. The quality of my burger was very good today and it was hot, and the bun was nice and fresh and fluffy. The fry box was filled well and the fries were fresh. The speed of service and the prices here are the reason the rating is so low.
