Coming from Long Island I was pampered with my options from butchers and Delis. The country butcher didn't disappoint! I bought Filet mignon serval times and it was delicious every time. The Kennet-Platzburgers are a must, and the ground Sirloin is perfect for meatballs, tacos and whatever! There is also a deli section that had all Italian meat, cheese and bread that are perfect for hosting! If you are new in the area and are looking for a great butcher/deli lunch place, check it out!
I have the Rib Eye Sandwich. $17. Of course I think I'm stabbed. I was wrong. I would have preferred these rib eyes on a plate. It was a good part, but no $17 sandwich roll. The role was too narrow. Everything's gone. Cutting the tomato slice in half would have been a great help. The Basil Mayonnaise was very delicious. When Ribeye was delicious. As a sandwich, it was a miss. It came with French fries, but even they were undercooked. I have a brownie. Brownie was delicious. Brownie was big. Brownie gave me a stomachache, because I ate everything at once and should have been two or three portions. Ironically, the Brownie Dollar cost helped me cut the price of meal.
The Country Butcher made my wedding of ~100 guests and we had a perfect experience! Planning, communication, collection and food were beyond what I could have dreamed. We worked with the boss and butcher to determine the best option for a Hog roast, and they are delivered more than to expectations! The entire process was so easy and its customer service is unmatched. The food was a big hit, and I was thrilled with every single selection. If you have any catering requirements, you should definitely The Country Butcher!
The cafe here is awesome. The food is fresh and delicious; the staff welcoming and friendly.
