Tgi Fridays - Kennesaw

I decided to grab lunch here recently. After about 10 minutes at the bar, I stepped into the kitchen to ask if anybody was working at the bar. I’m not sure where the bartender was located, but the manager took my order even brought my food. The bartender showed up every once in a while, but didn’t seem particularly interested in serving me. When I got my food, my fries were cold. I won’t go back.

I haven’t been to TGIF in years. Today I was reminded why I don’t come here. I ordered the 18 boneless wings. They would only allow me to get one flavor of wings. I had to order the wing platter which was $5 more to get flavors. Then the wings were over cooked. The waitress however did a good job. Not her fault the food was over priced and tasted like dirt.

The staff was polite and the service was quick.. however our burgers came out very soggy and just not good. The burger fell apart in my hands before I even took a bite. The part that frustrated me the most though… my family of 6 was automatically charged an 18% gratuity at the conclusion of the meal. I would have tipped 20% just simply because our waitress was very nice.. but 18% required for a table of 2 adults and 4 young kids?

If I could put zero stars I would. I ordered the appetizer combo and I must say it was the worst I have ever seen. This is a menu item I order often at other locations and it was unrecognizable.When I bit into the boneless wing I could barely taste any meat. The taste of the burnt batter overpowered it. I politely asked for it to be sent back and just get spinach dip instead. The manager stomped over to the table with a passive aggressive attitude. She continuously asked me identical questions about why I did not like it as if she was remedial. This was after I already verbally explained to her that I was not intending to be hostile and that the food was just simply not appealing. I would say the server displayed more professionalism than her. I wouldn’t be surprised if this business was to fail due to the manager’s puerile and arrogant attitude. This is a location I will never attend again no matter the circumstances. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else to enjoy your dinner.

This was by far the worst TGI Fridays that I’ve ever been to. The service was fast. However, I ordered the Whiskey glazed chicken with an order of shrimp and the chicken was HORRIBLE. Initially, it tasted undercooked so I had the waitress to take it back to the grill and that was after I spit it out on a plate. Once the chicken was returned back to me, it still tasted extremely bad. Like the chicken did not taste like chicken. I only eat chicken, fish, and shellfish so I know what chicken suppose to taste like. The waitress asked if everything was okay, I didn’t want to say anything but my husband initiated that conversation. We both shared our dislike for the chicken and the two pieces of chicken were still sitting on the plate. The waitress failed to get a manager or at least discount the payment. The discount wasn’t the issue, the disregard that she had for us was the issue. It’s okay because we will never frequent this specific TGI Friday’s again.
