I got there to watch the games at the bar which is a decent vibe and usually pretty entertaining watching drunk southern men try to hit on or get the bartenders attention with poor jokes. I gotta be honest here 8 guys with semi faded baseball caps and plaid shorts and khaki pants just doesn’t allow you to stand out. Where’s the competition when mediocrity is at the forefront. Again the wings are def. a winner
Hooters has definitely changed from when I worked there many years ago. And not in a good way. Service- The hostess, Michelle, seemed to be new. We were told to go stand off to the side, near the bar, to place a to go order. We stood there and no one came to see if we needed help. We decided we would just eat there. Michelle said they are going to clean a table. She left and came back and told us to follow her. When we got to the table, it was FILTHY. She went to go get something to wipe it down. She wiped off part of the table and then walked off quickly. We tried calling for her, but she didn't hear us, I assume. She came back to the table to finish wiping it down after a few minutes. Our server was Vanessa. It took her about 10 minutes before she came to our table. She kept saying she was going to get things that we were missing, but she would stay gone for about 15/20 minutes. We had to have the hostess bring us things. Drinks- We ordered two waters and a shot of Titos. I think it is time for Hooters to invest in new cups. The plastic orange cups just are not it. My husband had to get a to go cup because his water tasted it like dish soap. The glass my Titos came in was dirty. Appetizer- We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizers. They were okay. The breading taste like flour and the marinara sauce was watery. It took 30 minutes for those to come out. Wings- My husband ordered naked wings- Hot Honey and Jamaican Jerk. I ordered BREADED Garlic Parm and Medium. My wings were not breaded and the sauce tasted watered down for both of us. Shrimp- We also ordered buffalo shrimp. That wasn't bad. Fries- Were warm and did not have any salt. We did not add salt from the table because it was very dirty. It took about 20 more minutes for the rest of our food to come out. We ended up packing it all up and leaving. I miss the old Hooters. It used to be a fun environment. Even with the casual atmosphere. It seems now, they only care that people come because of the name and HOOTERS no longer care about the food or the service. We definitely will not be back.
Restaurant was very short staffed ... only 2 servers on the floor. Appetizer (mozzarella sticks) came out cool, and then both our entrees (burgers) bordered on cold. Felt like the food had been precooked and attempted to be warmed up before serving. Had not been to a Hooters in a while, and, based on this experience, will not trturn.
I haven't been to Hooters for years. Decided to visit in a mood and was pleasantly surprised. Wings were hot and fresh, beer was cold with a large selection, and the waiter was fantastic. 100% go back.
The service was great! Beverages stayed full, food came to a contemporary fashion and there was not much of a wait, though they were really busy. Everyone was polite and the manager came out to welcome us. The building was clean and tidy. The food came hot and tasted really good. The price was sufficient for quality.
