Fried Tomato Buffet - Kennesaw

The food was excellent. I often want to go back. the protocol of covid will still be.

I attended this facility around 2pm on a Thursday, they have a rotating menu by day. Moderately busy, only a few tables available. My husband and I have attended this restaurant a few times after going to HobbyTown USA down the strip, and I liked it so much I brought my father here. The staff is always friendly, and accomodating. They have a nice variety of vegetables and fruits in addition to the typical southern restaurant suspects: fried chicken, baked chicken, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, collard greens, biscuits and of course the namesake fried green tomatoes.

This restaurant is an excellent buffet-style establishment. They offer a wide variety of dishes, all of which are plentiful. To help reduce contamination, they provide food service gloves for diners to use. The salad bar is impressive, featuring a wide selection of dressings. There are also many dessert options available to try. The service was outstanding, with staff being very attentive to our table, promptly clearing away empty plates and quickly offering drink refills. This is a fantastic spot for the whole family. One wall features an inspiring verse worth reading, and they also serve delicious fried green tomatoes!

I never actually dined at this restaurant, but my experience was disappointing. I usually love eating here, and even though I'm not a local, I don’t mind traveling the extra distance for a good meal. To all of you who might wait outside for 45 minutes to an hour, the journey is definitely worth it. You can enjoy the scenery and explore other places along the way. However, please make sure to keep the fried green tomatoes as they should be—they’re a must! I also appreciate that they wear gloves while preparing food; it’s such a thoughtful touch.

Always a great place to go for southern comfort food. They have some items that change out each day but there are a few staples. Food almost always tastes freshly homemade. The waitresses are always very friendly and helpful. A great price for tasty food!
