Fishermans Cove Seafood - Kenner

I had the gumbo, and it was delicious! However, I was a bit disappointed with the amount of meat, as there were only a couple of popcorn shrimp and some shells. The charbroiled oysters, on the other hand, were outstanding. The cheesecake drizzled with raspberry syrup was absolutely divine! The bread was soft and fluffy. I would give it a 5-star rating if it weren't for the lack of meat. Overall, I would definitely return!

The food here is consistently fantastic. The service is friendly and quick, and the shrimp are enormous!

This photo doesn't capture the true size of the crabs we bought yesterday on our way home to West Monroe, LA. They were incredibly delicious, perfectly spiced, and packed with meat. We definitely plan to return next year when we're passing through to get more. I grew up on Bayou Des Allemands, and my dad was a crab fisherman, so crabs have always been my favorite seafood. It really brought back wonderful memories of spending time with my dad catching crabs together. Thank you once again!

I went in to place a future order for boiled crawfish and was told it's on a first come first serve bases I went on to ask if they usually have over 20-30 pounds cooked at anytime they replied yes, I said that's great I'll be back.When I get back the next day I wait in line to get the 30 lbs of boiled crawfish and was told they would have to check another customer came in and ordered crawfish boiled and was told their would be a wait but I was told their wouldn't be any crawfish boiled for the day. My 1st and last time ever coming here and I will spread my news.
