We found it. Sushi King has great quality for the low all you can eat price that you pay. You can select from a ton of different regular rolls, specialty rolls, salads, sides and ice cream. I can 't remember everything we ordered but it was a mixture of different rolls, shumai, pork katsu, seaweed salads and crab salads. It was all really good, and you really can 't beat the $20 price. Service was also very fast and friendly. We live so close, we will definitely be back.
Yet another restaurant fails to circumvents the test of sustainable. Hugely disappointed by the overall atmosphere and kitchen service, mind you the server was exceptional great and accommodating but the sushi chef and to surprise the owner was the culprit. We arrived at 8:20 and the place was a ghost town fair enough but as soon as we sat we were RUSHED into ordering citing that the kitchen closes in 20 mins, keep in mind the place is advertised to close at 9:30. Some kitchen entrees and AYCE was ordered. Kitchen entree were OK at best but the real mood killer was AYCE sushi. Portions sizes were shamefully tiny not small but infant food sized tiny, i can still get past that since this is AYCE and I could order more, guess I was wrong. As soon as my plate arrive (8:55 PM) the sushi bar was closed down everything was under the wrap, the chef took off his apron and was ready to bail, i had to request and i quote request to get more and all i could get was spicy tuna no choices. PATHETIC i wont set a food here ever again and i 'd love to see this place close door. And did I mention the fish was stale, i am actually all ready and prepped for food poisoning.
As they often say, the key to great sushi is in the rice. Here is where this place completely fails. The rice tastes too vinegary/sour and quite a bit mushy. The other key to good sushi is good quality fish. Another point where this place fails. The tuna was just not good. It wasn't even red, just an off-pink. Yuck. Unfortunately, there's not very many options in the area for decent sushi. Shame.
Great selection on their all you can eat sushi. We are never disappointed when we go here. Sushi is always made to order and I love how some stray from the usual seaweed wrap and use rice paper. There typically is never a wait no matter what time you go. It is bring your own wine and the ambiance is nice.
I personally prefer this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant over sushi palace. Each time you want to place an order, you just check off the sushi/hot food you want and they take the list from your table. The servers are super friendly and quick to bring out your food. The sushi taste better than a lot of places in the area. It's also byob so we usually bring some beer or wine with us.
