The Station Inn - Kendal

Visiting on the first day of relaunch the food was faultless with a good menu. A few teething problems with staff knowing the menu well enough, but I'm sure time will fix that. Definitely worth calling in.

Had the most beautiful overnight stay as a surprise birthday treat from my hubby. Room was clean , spacious and comfortable and most importantly peaceful. Fabulous evening meal in the conservatory followed by a full English breakfast. Definitely worth a visit.

A darling inn nestled in the beautiful hills. There was a recent change of ownership and the new owners are very nice and working hard to make this place extra lovely. The food was delicious (many vegetarian options too! and the rooms are very nice and clean. Area for kids to play outside and an outdoor beer garden area too. Cannot recommend more. Also a short walk from the train station which is nice for those without cars

Really enjoyed. Generous portions. Good country pub with no pretensions. I enjoyed one of my favourites, fish pie. Lots of seafood with a tasty cheese mash topping. Very friendly.

We stopped off here on our John o groats to lands end charity cycling ride.The owners of this pub was very Friendly and accommodating they took their time out to show us around this great pub and made us feel very welcome. The Decor and warm feeling this pub has to offer is excellent. We Highly recommend a visit! We will be back. Thankyou
