Brothers' Cafe - Kenai

Best chai tea latte I ever had. Homemade. Fresh. Delicious. The breakfast plate was average (eggs, biscuits/gravy, bacon, hashed browns). Not the best I had but not the worse. Overall, breakfast drinks to die for. Breakfast plate similar to IHOP.

Claim to be the best donuts in town, yet a local coffee shack that lives on the side of the road makes better donuts at a much more affordable price. I paid nearly $30 for 6 donuts? Simple math tells you that a dozen donuts costs $60.... What in the heck is that price? Furthermore they are in the airport so it 's an awkward location. If you know how to make good donuts and live in the Soldotna/Kenai area you could make a killing, just reference the late moose is loose bakery where the owners retired and left a major gap in the community.

Good burgers, breakfast meals, doughnuts, and pies are available at this little Kenai Municipal Airport cafe. Service can be slow at busy times, so don't order grilled foods too close to your flight departure. This place has a cafe feel with large windows looking out at the runway and boarding area for regional flights by Grant Aviation, Kenai Aviation, and Ravn Alaska. There are not a lot of tables so sitting down for table service may be limited during busy times. It appears that this place serves as a casual dining area for local folks that are not flying. This is especially true during national holidays when area eateries are closed in town.

Friendly service. Ordered chicken sandwich, chicken strip basket and some fries for my kids. The chicken sandwich was a tough, rubbery texture and seemed unlike any chicken I've ever seen. We couldn't eat it. I told the waitress about it and sent it back but there was no offer to remove the price of the sandwich from our bill even though we could not eat it. Just disappointing when things are so expensive everywhere these days. We never eat out and this one time we did and then we can't even eat the food. Fries were way too salty for our preference. Won't be going go back, unfortunately.

I really like this place. They have great food for breakfast and lunch. The portions are large and they make espresso coffee AND have donuts! I highly recommend giving them a try.
