It's been a few years since I've been there but the milkshakes are worth the drive.
I ordered a latte, what I received was a coffee with cream, no froth no foam, and a gigantic dose of attitude. I've never met people so defensive or so utterly resistant to learn. People, so quick to argue and defend their beliefs of what a latte is. The entire staff from the cashier to the owner were insistent that lattes do not have foam. When I showed them a picture of what a latte is supposed to look like, and that the entire beverage revolves around the froth and foam, the cashier snapped at me and asked why I was showing her the picture. I mentioned if you're going to make and sell something you need to know how to prepare it. They refunded me. The experience was so negative and unpleasant. I hope that someday they open their minds and their hearts to their customers, who are travelers that are familiar with what a cappuccino and a latte actually are cease to argue with people, rather be more open to learning instead of so quick to argue with their customers and source of income. Alaska is a beautiful destination. The business owners and staff should realize their customers are spending time and money to visit the area, Without visitors they likely wouldn't survive. Why attempt to ruin a person's visit to the area or vacation due to pride and arrogance? Wow just wow.
Pretty well stocked store. Ice cream. I used the laundromat: 4 washers, 4 dryers. They have detergent for sale and ask that you don't use pods. I had a problem with a dryer and they refunded me. There are also 2 showers.
