Beautifully situated on the river, which is particularly brilliant in summer. Very good service, very child-friendly, also regarding the menu. We look forward to coming back to Kempten. A way forward: I rarely travel 5 stars for a restaurant, but here I have to do this because in Kempten there is no more beautiful and better. The old bleach is located in the Kemptner district of Sankt Mang, relatively hidden and only accessible from a side street. The parking spaces around the restaurant are simple enough, I found one more. Excellent location is the direct proximity to the Iller, i.e. the restaurant is located through a terrace directly on the river Kempten. Especially in summer there is no more beautiful restaurant location, as you have a great view and also do not perceive any noise from the city. When you enter the large restaurant, you will notice the high walls, the many glass windows and the beautiful and stylish furniture. With a lot of glass, the restaurant is very bright. There are always enough seats, usually a four table with beautiful bastions. Each table is also lovingly decorated. The menu is very good. For example, you can find something to eat as a vegetarian. Especially remarkable is the seasonal menu with regional products. Very good are mainly regional fish offers. Otherwise there are salads, pizzas, soups, pasta and smaller snacks all day. You can also eat warm at 4:00... The service is to be classified as very friendly and competent. You get good wine recommendations and don't have to wait long. A greeting from the kitchen is by the way standard! Unfortunately, the prices were slightly increased last year and the bleach is less a secret tip than before. For a good steak with supplement you pay an average of 16€. Still acceptable, you get a very tasty meal. All in all, I would call the old bleach as the best restaurant in the most beautiful location of Kemptens. Whether you want to sit comfortably on the terrace by the river at noon or book a candlelight dinner, the old bleach is the starting point number one for me.

The pizza was fantastic. The dough is exceptionally good. The spaghetti were also very delicious. The waiter was very friendly asking if everything is OK and we need something else. We also liked the atmosphere very well. If we were to live nearby, I could imagine that we would visit the place more often.

We have been to the Rossini restaurant, which we have discovered by chance during cycling along the Iller. It is a wonderful location right at the Iller. Sitting on the terrace directly on the river in summer feels like on holiday. The building is very light flooded through the great large windows. The pizza oven area is visible, making the chefs and employees very close. In addition, the pizza dough is so wonderfully fluffy, soft and crispy at the same time. I only know about my grandpa in Croatia. Special highlight is not only the dough, but also the size of a 1 meter pizza. This can also be ordered for pickup. We were here more often, with children, with family, with friends. It has always been a pleasure to us and the service as well as the boss of Rossini was very friendly and accommodating.
