We had a great meal at Landry's! The public restrooms near the garage were horrible.

I purchased tickets for the rides in advance on the website. When I checked in to receive our wristbands, the staff member informed us that one of the rides was not operational. My fiancé and I agreed to continue despite this. However, as we tried to enjoy the rides, we discovered that about half of them were out of service due to maintenance, remaining that way until the last hour before closing. It's a small amusement park with a lovely view, but the ride availability was disappointing.

Went back a few times and even though the main area is big commercial restaurants the area offers many independently owned businesses. Great place to go for dinner followed by a nice walk.

We visited on a Thursday afternoon, hoping to capture great sunset photos followed by some colorful shots with the lights from the games and restaurants. Unfortunately, we lasted no more than 20 minutes due to the lack of activity; the area felt deserted and had a lifeless atmosphere, which was truly disappointing. The food situation is another major issue. Although there is a variety of dining options, the prices are exorbitant and frankly not justified by the quality. The Boardwalk promotes itself as a place full of joy and fun, yet the reality is more akin to a dreary walk along a nearly empty pier. The views are also lackluster. Overall, it seems that Kemah Boardwalk relies more on its past reputation than on what it currently offers. Unless you have a penchant for spending a lot of money on a mediocre experience, I would recommend looking for entertainment elsewhere. If you're a tourist, particularly from overseas, save yourself the disappointment and opt for a more engaging activity. Of all the things I saw in Houston, this was the only visit I regretted.
