Our server, Amy, was excellent. The food, wine, and view were all fantastic as well.

After hearing great things about Quails Gate, I was disappointed to find that the food didn't meet my expectations. The Babette was meant to be cooked medium but came out more on the medium-rare side, with some parts completely raw. They also skimped on the cherries. The French fries tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. Overall, it was not a good experience. My partner ordered the risotto with salmon and said the salmon was decent, but I wouldn't choose to return.

Very disappointing. Med rare bavette was raw. Sent back. Meanwhile my husband finished his chicken dish which was lukewarm. Bavette again came too raw. Wonderful manager , a woman, told me to order something else, she'd leave the fries, and comp my order. While she did the best she could, pretty sure we would not return. Whole restaurant seems weary. Not great ambiance.

Our waitress was knowledgeable about the wines, very attentive, and accommodating. She really made the evening. The food was solid. The wines were some of the best we've had here in Kelowna. The setting is lovely. It was a shame that the rainy night kept us from enjoying the view. But a lovely meal.
