Grizzly Bear Bistro - Kelowna

Upon arrival, I discovered that more than a third of the menu items were unavailable due to a menu change coming soon. Additionally, they were out of six other items. The only bread they served was plain white Wonder Bread. My mother's garden salad with prawns was priced at $26, but it contained just five wilting romaine leaves, a handful of seeds and cranberries (approximately seven), a tiny bit of feta, and five small prawns—no dressing whatsoever. When I asked the waitress if she thought it was worth $26, she agreed it wasn’t, and offered to discount it to $17 (the price without shrimp). Overall, the food was underwhelming, as if it had been prepared by a 12-year-old with no guidance. I have reached out to management to express my concerns but have yet to receive a response. This was the worst Mother’s Day brunch, or any brunch for that matter, I’ve ever experienced.

I made a reservation last week for Mother's Day brunch, but when our party of four arrived, the doors were closed and the restaurant wasn't even open. They really need to update their restaurant information as soon as possible!

We had a really disappointing lunch experience. We were hoping for breakfast, but they didn't offer it. We also wanted chicken and waffles, but that wasn't available either. Overall, I felt overcharged and I won’t be returning.

Celebrated a small reunion with friends. They were out of everything we ordered . We could have walked out but the server had a good sense of humour . We settled on whatever they had available.
