The order was incomplete and what I did get was tasteless and like warm. Normally get a better service and product but after a 3 years I Will now be moving on
Bad points and feedback: arrival of meet greet customer service needs to be improve and timing and speed of the buffet needs to be rectify . If you said come 7pm, food should be ready by then. Not waiting 20mins plus and yet I had to ask if we can start. food was slightly cold seems like it 's being pre cooked)except the deep fried. but thank you chef for the warm up version of the kofta recommend to get food heating fuels and lighting dimmers for buffets). Although the set buffet menu didn 't emphasise flatbread ,we do recommend to have warm ones for the dips for a balance or else the dips would have been hardly used. The bread given looks like it came from the fridge. Restaurant is in need of more hands on customer service to reduce pressure on one person. This is my first time to a Lebanese Buffett I was expecting to have more meat being display out and if i was an inexperience foreigner foodie , I would have eaten something I didn 't like. So signage labels would be helpful in identifying what food is what especially not many get to try Middle eastern food. We ask why there was no more kofta/beef and the owner replied there was unexpected guests but it leaves an uneasy feeling to others who has paid for their share. That was why we only took one each because we thought they would be more since it was a buffet . It is not an excuse. Mine you a few of the people there seem disappointed with the servings especially there was not enough beef and kofta left. It is quite misleading for a scoopon voucher. Front service staff most of the time avoid the counter and it leaves a bad impression on the restaurant. I saw some people walk away and some could not even receive the service. Probably why some people could not get their attention of refilling the buffet. Also I felt that my friend was overly charge of one small bakclava in previous zomato menu it says $3) one piece Middle eastern sponge cake and one Lebanese tea. $15 plus $10 takeaway this should be given for free since there was no top up of the beef and kofta and since we travel quite a distance and having to wait extra 20mins plus to start when we were starving). To be honest we both agreed we wouldn 't go back. Owner should know the price instead of confirming with the chef. Also I gotten really sick since that day and i think is due to handling prep of the food. Looks good outside but once you put in your body you get symptoms later. My stomach is quite sensitive first to react so I think is link to major food poisoning. Good points/feedback : my favourite was the flavours of the dips is consistent and not salty like other Lebanese restaurant like beiyrut Lebanese; owner salman was friendly . We didn 't really get a chance to liaise with the chef maybe because of cultural difference and they were mostly hiding at the back in the kitchen. The meat beef, chicken and kofta was tender and juicy) and not dry . Salad was ok and the Lebanese rice cooking was ok spices and fragrancy. I must say well done on the taste and consistency of the food. It just needs to be hot like it just came from the bbq especially when meat is served. Customer Service and communication was a total let down in which I would rate 1-2 stars . Overall 1.5 for food not being served HOT . BEWARE.
Never go there. Bunch of cheats and liars. We purchased a scoopon viucher for the buffet and when we tried to make a booking they said we cannot gave buffet because thwy do not have enough bookings and asked me to come back after 3 weeks. Then he offered me to choose something else feom the menu which is far less in value compared to what we paid. Finally we had decided to take whats available the food turned out to be the most disgusting and so dry.And the guy on the counter who is also the chef was the most unfriendly guy i have ever met. No wonder the whole restaurant was empty when we went there. Guys please reconfirm 10 times what you are getting before you pay.............HORRIBLE
Roma is most definitely where you should go when you feel like a Kebab in Armadale. The Kebabs are delicious and the service is prompt and personable.
There are several areas that need improvement. Firstly, the customer service at the greeting could be more welcoming, and the timing of the buffet needs to be addressed. If the buffet is scheduled to start at 7 o'clock, the food should be ready at that time. I ended up waiting over 20 minutes before having to ask if we could begin. When the food arrived, it was a bit cold, as if it had been pre-cooked, with the exception of the deep-fried items. On a positive note, I appreciated the warm kofta. To enhance the buffet experience, it would be beneficial to include heating stations for the food. Additionally, even though the set buffet menu didn't mention flatbread, I think it would be great to have warm bread available to accompany the dips; otherwise, the dips might not be utilized to their full potential. The bread served looked like it had just come out of the refrigerator. Overall, there’s room for improvement in the dining experience at this restaurant.
