Zen Palace - Kells

The food here is the best chinese food around the staff are friendly and super nice. Never had a bad meal here

Where do you go when you are driving through Kells and the bars are not serving food? You go to the most obvious place in town something local like Chinese. We were the only ones there at the time after all it was a very late lunch after a long flight and drive. We were quickly seated at a large table and orders were take since they were serving the Sunday buffet. The food prepared quickly and brought to our table. The food was average in my opinion with just plain flavours very little spice or zing. The flavours just seemed too safe so as to appeal to the meat and potato crowd. In doing so I feel they comprised what makes Chinese food worth stopping for. Thanks for the good service.

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered. Very nice lady said 45 minutes. And it arrived 45 minutes later. Chicken garlic chili was the best I ever had. The ribs my kids said were great and my wife had prawns which she said were beautiful. Every thing was eaten. 31 euro for a great takeaway. The chicken garlic chili was in a very nice garlic sauce with veg and fresh chili. Very nicely spiced and very enjoyable. Well worth a visit
