Headfort Golf Club - Kells

Had a meal after a game of golf. It is spotless. The staff were very cheerful and helpful. We had Turkey and ham. It was first class and well priced. Will eat there again.

Called in here for a meal with family on my way back to wales after completing the JFK 50 mile challenge in Moylagh. So glad I did, the food was excellent with huge portions, and served very quickly. But the dewel in their crown was the waitress, she was hilarious, was doing the work of three and keeping everyone entertained. She took my mind off my aching legs and blistered feet. Next time I’m home I’ll be definitely visiting here again, and hopefully having a round of golf as I hear booth courses are excellent, if there half as good as the food and that waitress I’d be amazed. Thanks for everything, Pat Cooke and the party who looked like we were from cripple creek.

I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, just like everyone in Kells. I will definitely go back again if I am in the area.

I stopped at this Golf Club for lunch on my way to a funeral. It was a Sunday. The food was delicious, hot, and plentiful. I ordered the lamb while my dining companion had the salmon, and we both enjoyed every bite. We shared a dessert and each had a coffee. I couldn't find anything to fault, and the staff and service were excellent. I hope to be in that area again soon so I can enjoy their food once more.

I made a reservation for a table for nine people. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to assist us. The food was delicious and served hot. The price was reasonable.
