Przekaż informację zwrotnąKlosterschänke Weltenburg in Bayern Short trip In early October 2014 a destination for the hike on the Danube bank path from Kehlheim to the Hohen Wand, further from there to the monastery with a Zille (price p.P. 4€ not entirely without, but very informative). On holiday on 03.10.14 it should have been really full there, we were there on Sunday, 2 days later and for our conditions very well visited. It is not a place to take something in peace, but to experience the typical beer garden. Insane, just to experience the perfect logistics that the staff implements there. Short waiting times, friendly staff and in addition to the unique beer very delicious dishes. On the other side of the river we walked back to Kehlheim. And because we liked it so well, we returned to another lunch on the day of our home trip. Arriving by the hiking bus by far not as beautiful as the hike the days before. Inappropriate parking fee 4€ regardless of the parking time you should be ready. Nevertheless, 5 stars, the monastery has nothing to do with the parking lot, here someone gilded with providing parking its private floor.
You're sitting in the Klosterhof. But there's a lot of hectic. The more surprising is that the service is very friendly and the food is (Lüngerl! is very good. And the whole thing at prices that still remain within the framework. Very good beer!
A visit to Klosterschenke Weltenburg is always an experience! Also the boat trip through the Danube trip, but then only the famous Worldenburg beer and the many delicious Bavarian specialties on the table, in romantic monastic surroundings, whether indoor or in the wonderfully protected beer garden. The food tastes just as excellent as the sweet beer, the Sevice as from the ff extraordinarily flink and friendly. And if you're lucky, there's also a music band that plays one in the short waiting period for the food, and with some luck, even after the meal, thanks to a musical thank you with the host and service!
We made a family trip to Weltenburg yesterday, known by the monastery beer and the magnificent location of the monastery. The trip was absolutely rewarded, thanks to the cruise to Kelheim with the Liberation Hall, to go through the Danube through the steep cliffs. But now to Klosterschenke: It was dry summery weather and where you could sit wonderfully in the Klosterhof in the Biergarten der Klosterschenke. We ordered various dishes (see pictures) and the food was consistently very good as you expected for a Bavarian restaurant. The baroque dark beer was as good as his reputation very tasty! Our service Valentina was very friendly and likes to arrange special portions (small and child-friendly) that were not on the map. In short, The monastery with gastronomic operation is worth a trip, ideally connected to a cruise from or to Kelheim.
On our bike tour on the five-foot cycle path we took a cruise from Kelheim to the Kloster Weltenburg. Unfortunately it was raining very strongly, as was the days before, so that we immediately fled to Klosterschenke after visiting the monastery church. Operation was very flashy and professional, so we received our drinks after a short time. We didn't have anything because we wanted to warm up here for a short time until our ship brought us back to Kelheim, but the breadboards at the side table looked very appealing and were richly occupied. The prices were correspondingly high for an outing room (cao: 3.80 euros), but we had not expected otherwise. The beer drinkers enjoyed the monastery beer, which has been brewed here since 1050 and is natural. More information: [here link] With beautiful and dry weather, you can sit in front of the restaurant on the Klostervorplatz overlooking the monastery in the Biergarten. There was a wedding group in the side room. You can also rent premises for celebrations here. If I come here again, I will surely return to the Klosterschenke and try a cool beer.
