It's been a since I wrote my first review of this caffe. I stopped for breakfast this morning. the place he also saw, but the caffe was not full because it was a holiday. I sat inside because it wasn't warm. out there it felt a bit cramped in it. I ordered a cappuccino and a salmon sandwich. the young woman who served first brought only the salmon, cream cheese and the wobble. I thought she'd bring a hot roll from the other side of the caffe, but no roll came. I had to ask her if I could get some bread for this sandwich. Overall it took almost 10-15 minutes after I finished my cappuccino to eat this sandwich. I found it quite strange that she would think that I would eat only the laugh and swirl with a cup cappuccino. that was not a great experience! I'm sure it was any misunderstanding, but until they train their waiting staff better, I'll visit other more efficient places in kehl.
I drove over the Rhine in kehl when it was a holiday in France. After a refresh I look at this bistro on the market that was pretty busy. apropos german, I was impressed by the young man who served me, who also spoke French and English. he recommended a forstenberg beer. I discussed sandwich options with him and he brought me a warm, crispy little baguette with salami, cheese (melted), tomato and salat. it was delicious.
We were looking for a light lunch somewhere, so when we saw that there was a pretty good menu with good trips, we decided here. the pizza was good enough, my daughter had come out very slowly, we were halfway through our meal before it was served. the salate was bad. massive plate but about 8 leaves salat, 4 slices tomato, 4 slices gurke and 2 olives! we ordered 4 glasses water instead of soda drinks, which always drive the price of a meal much. but when we had paid for it, they had charged us for every glass 3,10 €. it was certainly not filled water so we might have a beer or a drink! the water was half the price of the food! total tear! never again!
There may be other Wolkenkratzer cafés in other parts of Germany, but there is only one at the marketplace in Kehl. There already is a description of the Kehl's Bistro Wolkenkratzer on Tripadvisor. A Wolkenkratzer café is also found in Lahr not too far from...Kehl, but there is definitely only one at the market place.
