Fernando's (italian) - Keflavik

After two weeks walk we arrived in Keflavik tired, hungry and a little rough looking. We wanted a meal, everywhere, chose a restaurant randomly, and we were totally surprised and enthusiastic about the fresh pasta, excellent service, delicious beer and great atmosphere in Fernando’s. The crabs and shrimp pasta was perfect. My son had the lobster pasta he loved. Fernando is a real hit.

Here in my last night in Iceland and wow it was such a great experience. The ambience in the restaurant was very nice, I don't wait long for my food, the staff was friendly, and the food was absolutely incredible. For a starter, I ordered the Caprese salad, which was served as Miniskewers. Very creative way to serve this classic dish. For my main thing, I tried the lobster pizza that was honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. And I went to dessert with the lava cake that was rich and tasty. Recommend this place to all in the area.

Read the great reviews, was thrilled to try this restaurant. The staff was very welcome. Our table with three ordered three separate meals. And after the request for a waiter recommendation between the lobster pasta of the crab pasta. I was disappointed with the presentation and the seafood content of my plate when it arrived. The three of us had very different dishes, but my court was definitely the strange, i.e. under the standard, my guests found it creepy. I was polite and polite to lose what I would have done, which could cause misery. Anyway, I saw casually at the level of presentation with meals from other dinners that was high. After I had paid without complaint, I decided to see pictures of Fernando Pasta meals online, which eventually led to this review. Do not get the Lobster

We fed here just after arriving at the local airport, because the place was nearby. The pizzas we ordered quickly came in and were pretty good! Especially for lovers of hot pizza, the lava is highly recommended! But be careful, even with a Thai food trained stomach, the lava should not be underestimated! It's really hot, but totally delicious! The pizza dough is thin and crispy as it should be! Definitely a good choice.
