The place is not big, but with quite good atmosphere. service is comfortable. not to mention the delicious Italian cuisine. the grilled vegetables are tasteful. especially the duck breast is finger-licking good with this red wine and blueberry sauce. the only thing they can complain is the open time only around 1800-2200. remember to make reservation before they enjoy the meal.
The first time here and it is now my favorite Italian in taipei. Eating, ambiente and service are fantastic. enrico, chef and anouk, service and team have looked after us fantastic. we sat on the cook table, and for beginners we had the beetroot burrata followed by crispy calamari, then cork tongue safran risotto with our last cure is the pork pliers. all well cooked perfect, witj great presentation and great aromas in a relaxed environment. we finished with a Pasaiofruit pinacotta, which was silky smooth and tasteful. highly recommended.
Had a wonderful firm and a good time in divino tonight. it is a rustic restaurant, small rooms, most of the tables are for 2-4 people, but they have a private room that requires up to 16 people with minimum spending. the atmosphere is relaxing with dimming lights, perfect for a romantic dinner or a cool place to hang out with friends the food was delicious and unique! we ordered: 1. grilled bass with tomatensalat (special menu): the fish was good, but the highlight of the plate was the tomatensalat with capern! perfect balance of sweet, salt and teerness. is really in your mouth. 2. grilled vegetables (special menu): unique dish with good taste, but the sweet was a bit more charred (on purpose) than I like, personal preference. 3. gnocchi with pistachios: I have a passion for gnocchi. what turned out for the dish is the amazing creamy sauce. yum (complete as fast as we have forgotten to make a photo) 4. minze lamb paste: this was a bit sharp, and since the texture was similar gnocchi, I would not order it together, and I would prefer the gnocchi. 5. pork: I loved this so much, I can probably finish that myself it is so good. the meat is so delicate, beautifully flavored and perfectly cooked. I'll dream about it. 6. tiramisu: I have never enjoyed tiramisu, but I ended every customs of the plate to get the mous and the chocolate. it is thick and creamy, perfect balance of alcohol, coffee, sweet and bitterness from the chocolate. that was impressive. we also enjoyed the service here. the waitress was friendly and entertained with us like friends, gave us good introduction to the dishes and asked us for feedback about eating. they were good to change new plates for us for the next plate, because everything was saucy. they were not able to write happy birthday on the tiramisu, but they offered to glow a candle for us. we had a great time to celebrate my father's birthday here, and we will try other dishes from the menu again. we do not drink so can not comment much on the wein, but def have a wide range of options. thanks, divino.
Food is great Gnocchi and Panna Cotta are highly recommended!! Do note that reservations could only be made on either 6pm or 8pm, also credit card info is required as a 1500NTD/person fee would be charged if you didn’t show up.
