The sweet shop doesn't exhibit much items in the front but it seemed to be quite famous as I observed a rush in the place. Passers-by drop into and prefer to have Puri (deep fried small flour bread) and Sabji (a veg prep) and tea. The place is famous for Bokakhat (name of the place) Peda (a kind of dry sweet made of milk). Prices are reasonable. The thing I loved is that they are eco friendly and don't use plastics at all. Peda is served on a piece of old newspaper, Puri sabji is served on banana leaves and tea is served in glass. Although the shop didn't look very tidy but it's a running one and serve fresh food.
Average shop. Popular amongst locals for traditional aloo Puri.
A very nice quaint place keeping the old charm intact. Have been seeing this place since childhood on the way to Dibrugarh. Haven't changed much. The puri sabzi served in banana leaves , the besan barfi and peda are very tasty. It's a must stop destination in bokakhat.
Decent food and service. Best one among other shops on highway area.
Good quality sweets
