When visiting Kawakawa have a coffee at the fabulous Railway station Cafe. Wonderful home baking, try the banana and chocolate muffins. What an extraordinary place. Set in a former railway station in Kawakawa, now a heritage railway site, the decor is funky historic. I ordered a latte and they offered to make it for me in a glass. Perfect. Their cabinet food is amazing. Some wonderful slices. And the blackboard menu is distinctly Kiwi, but the helpings are enormous! And the service was fabulous. Warm, friendly with heaps of arohaa. The best cafe in Kawakawa.

Very delicious food at a decent price, I really love the homemade fries.. the beef patty in the burger was delicious all I can suggest is add a tomato to the burger as well... Otherwise highly recommend and nice staff also
