We’ve ordered several times, and each time, the taste of the mutton dum biryani and mirapakaya kodi has differed. This time, we ordered the lollipop chicken, which was baked rather than the deeply fried version we expected, and unfortunately, it did not taste good. We used to enjoy the biryani, but its flavor seems inconsistent from week to week. One item we do recommend is the Cashew Chicken Pakora; however, each time we’ve called to order it, they've informed us that it takes an hour to prepare. If you have the time, it’s worth trying the spicy Cashew Chicken Pakora.
I would rate this restaurant lower if I could. The service was absolutely ridiculous. They served us very cold dosa, and when we asked for hot food, the server just gave us a strange look. After waiting for 45 minutes, we decided to leave. As we were at the billing counter, they finally brought us a dosa, and believe it or not, it was still cold. What kind of service is that? They didn’t even serve us water. I definitely won't be returning, and it seems they’re indifferent to their poor service. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
This was truly a disappointing dining experience in India. The place was poorly kept, with a dirty interior, and the food was served on plastic dishes using paper and plastic utensils, which did not feel very special. To make matters worse, we ordered masala dosa, but it arrived deconstructed! The masala was provided in a plastic container rather than being served inside the dosa. The biryani rice was drier than the Gobi Desert, and it was accompanied by cold gravy, as if everything had been taken straight from the refrigerator. I can't say I'll be returning here again!
We tried Dosa and Choles. Eating is just okay, not very good. Bhature are not a Punjabi feature, but they looked like Big Samosas without filling (we were little shocked). If you are looking for authentic Indian food, this place is not the answer. Dosa size is decent, but taste is just okay not great.
I am writing this review primarily because I can't understand how this restaurant is rated above 4 and that made me go there. In the name of chole- bhature, we got four small and really thick pieces of what looked like fried tortilla. Dosa was just okay.....it was pretty thick. So essentially, neither thin nor crunchy as a dosa should be. Their ambience is what shook us the most- definitely not a place for dine-in. Also, they serve food in to-go containers. Service was very slow too.
