The Local Katy

This is a fantastic bar choice in Katy. Their cocktails are skillfully crafted and feature inventive flavors. While the menu is primarily focused on appetizers rather than a full dinner, everything we tried was excellent. It's hard to find a good bar in Katy that isn't a sports bar, and this place delivers. I highly recommend it for drinks and appetizers.

The drinks are freshly made, there's great live music, and both indoor and outdoor seating options are available. The server was attentive without being intrusive and offered excellent recommendations for food and drinks. The blueberry basil lemonade is particularly refreshing.

My coworkers and I frequently visit this place for happy hour. The food is fantastic, but the service could use a bit of improvement. On some days, it's excellent, while on others, we find ourselves having to search for our waiter. Parking can be challenging, but that's typical for this area given the abundance of shops and restaurants.

Longtime fan of The Local Bar here in katy but they are more than fresh squeezed juices and hand crafted spirits, their tapas are absolutely delicious. So be sure you grab a goat cheese with Brussels sprouts pizza or the jalapeño hummus y?all thesenever disappoint. It?s worth mentioning that I didn?t think I liked goat cheese until trying this tonight and my goodness thisthe only way I want to top my pizza from now on lol. So serious, a must try!!!! Their happy hour drink specials are awesomeeven offered Friday?s so we can froze fri-yay with amazing people, super awesome live music, chill ambiance, and black cherrywhite claws, leaving nothing to be desired so no excuses stop on by.

Service, food and drinks are excellent!!! This place is a great place to meet someone for drinks, a little nibble or a full blown meal. We sat on the patio which which was covered and had ceiling fans to keep us cool even on a hot evening. The happyhour had many specials on appetizers and drinks which apparently change daily. The beer selection included domestic, import andlocal craft on tap. Lot's of parking with a parking garage near by so even on busy days and times it shouldn't be an issue.Would highly recommend.
