Spicy House - Katy

I came to this place based off the reviews. The customer service was awesome but the food was not it. It was fresh but it didn?t have taste and one of my pieces of chicken was discolored inside which was weird to me. Another piece of chicken was sostringy, that I thought I was chewing hair. I almost puked not knowing if this was actually chicken. We ordered General Tsochicken and Sesame chicken. The rice was bland and not fluffy at all. Overall I won?t be coming here anymore.

Great food. Great spice not too hot but just enough to enjoy your meal! Nice little spot and fast serving too!

The food is very good but it?s best experienced dine-in (for freshness especially the fried foods). This is where this place falls a little short. The dining room has an unusual ambiance, think abandoned dance club and when we have gone there?s hardlyanyone there. I assume at least part of issue is due to all of the take-out orders. That said, we do love the taste, quality,portions and value here, so we do recommend it.

Excellent Food! I?ve tried several dishes here. Usually an appetizer, a main dish and dish of noodles or fried rice. Every single item has been outstanding. It?s also a great value, very cheap for this quality of food. And the people who work here arealso very nice. You?ll feel welcomed. 100 percent recommended

Pretty authentic mainland Chinese restaurant. One of the few places that do the dish ?Ant climbing a tree? that is a spicy, vermicelli noodle, and pork dish, that is so good. Highly recommend it, but everything is great here, even the staff. Can?t getenough of this place. It?s our only go to Chinese place in Katy. Also, I?m American Chinese, who lived in Beijing for 3years. Our typical order: Garlic Cucumbers, Salt Pepper Shrimp, Ants Climbing a Tree, Fried Spicy Chicken Cubes, Dry-FriedGreen Beans, and a Spicy Potato with Vinegar.
