The sliced brisket was a 6/10, while the ribs came in at 5/10. The potato salad scored a mere 3/10; it had skins in it, which some people might enjoy, but it’s not to my taste. Plus, it was served lukewarm, which was quite off-putting. On a positive note, the okra was excellent—I'd give it a 9/10, and the BBQ sauce was also a standout at 9/10. However, the pickles only earned a 3/10; I think they should use full spear pickles or larger slices instead. Overall, it just didn’t meet my expectations.
I had my first experience at Red River BBQ Grill in the early evening, right between lunch and dinner. I ordered the combo baked potato topped with brisket and pulled pork. While both meats had a nice smoky flavor, they were quite dry, and unfortunately, the baked potato and the meats were only lukewarm to room temperature.
We tried both the sliced and chopped brisket sandwiches, as well as a stuffed baked potato topped with pulled pork and spicy sausage. The salad bar was a great addition and everything was delicious! I highly recommend it—10/10!
The Texas hushpuppies were incredible during my last visit, so I just had to come back for more. Everything on the menu looks appealing and smells fantastic. This place is awesome!
I had an amazing experience with the service at this restaurant. Although my order was incorrect, the manager really went out of their way to resolve the issue. I always enjoy coming here!
