Atami Steak Sushi - Katy

Service and food is always great and affordable compared to similar places. When we want hibachi, this is are go to place.

We have been picking sushi at Atami ever Friday night for years. Recently they changed the black horse roll and started adding season salt to the salmon inside. Did not like it so stopped getting that. Now two weeks in a row the golden roll has this terrible pink and white imitation crab on top which is not nearly as nice as the white stuff they have always used. I think I need to find a new place . Please stop changing the rolls!

Went the other night to Atami and was treated to the best hibachi Chef I have had the pleasure if dining with. Been to probably 20 different hibachi places before but Jessie was amazing. He was incredibly engaging, super friendly, was cracking jokes with us the entire time, and the food was great! We've been to Atami probably 10 times or so, and was always happy, but he took it to another level. Definitely ask for him if you dine here, you will be happy you did!

Horrible service, I ordered the wrong plate not knowing it came fried and it was not said on the menu the owner a lady came out and basically took my plate because I asked if it can be grilled I don't do fried. Super rude! I even apologized for the inconvenience something they could not! We should have just went to ShoGun! Don't come here and waste your money!!

This was my wife's favorite place. The food was very good was never disappointed. Staff was friendly. Good value for the money
