Ocean Floor Seafood - Katunayaka

This restaurant is located right on the beach and is family-owned and operated, showcasing the warm hospitality of Sri Lankan culture. The mom, who is also an excellent cook, prepares dishes that are absolutely delicious. The family goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcomed and want to return. During my four days in Sri Lanka, I didn't dine anywhere else for dinner because the food here was just too good to pass up. No other restaurant could compare.

The manager is very friendly and the sunset view is perfect.

Today's lunch at Sea Floor was the perfect beachfront dining experience. The welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, and laid-back music made for a relaxing meal. My companion and I enjoyed sharing the delicious seafood platter. We will definitely be returning! It may be a bit challenging to locate Sea Floor from the main road, but I recommend finding Hotel Kamlot and heading towards the beach. Once on the beach, turn left and follow the chairs and tables until you reach Sea Floor.

This place is amazing. The beach and restaurant are so clean. We absolutely loved it here. We had seafood, especially the crabs and prawns. They were amazing and delicious. The cocktails were also superb. We highly recommend this place. The owner, waiters, and chef are all so friendly. The service felt like 5-star service. I highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at this restaurant for the second time. The service was excellent and we highly recommend trying their seafood, rice, and curry.
