Super sweet caffe in katoomba city in blue mountains. the menu is small but very good with sandwiches, salads and small deserts together with smoothies and other drinks all made in the house. the personal is family like, super friendly and always happy and smiling. the sandwiches are super delicious. a must. best is to call them 30 minutes before their arrival and they will put their names on waiting list. the waiting times are not very long, about 20-30 minutes, as the menu is mainly sandwiches and salads.
This caffe is so beautiful place to visit with friends, and have a nice chat. I ordered the chili and it was a generous portion and incredibly delicious, and the brot was so soft and fluffy! I could never order anything else from the menu. I also ordered the hibiscus and lime tea, which was delicious, and came in a beautiful large pot.
There’s definitely a European feel about this cafe in Katoomba. Rustic wooden decor, arty and a clever use of all the spaces. Busy yet you still feel you have privacy in your own cosy nook. Great food and drinks, friendly staff and a very welcoming vibe.
Been there a few times and always had mixed feelings if you are told to wait longer than 15 minutes then simply do not wait. Because waiting time is always twice longer. We were waiting for 1.5 hours instead of 45 minutes. Food is good and tasty, but certainly not worth waiting that long. Katoomba has lots of other places to eat. Staff is friendly and trying to do their best, but they simply are not capable to service everyone on time. So 2 stars only.
