The Farm - Katoomba

Although a bit on the expensive side, this place offers you a great selection of healthy and very tasty dishes.

The venue was excellent. The food was delicious The service ... outstanding... .. the menu - divine..... We could not have asked for a better experience.... Well done...We were celebrating a retirement dinner on a cold May night in the mountains, we dined indoors next to the fireplace - whilst our hosts prepared and cooked our dinner. Excellent ambience and good home cooked - tasty - meals. We had two young children with us - who were kept occupied with toys and were very comfortable in the home style setting.

We were invited to a friend's 70th birthday at The Farm. It was a wonderful place to celebrate a very personal affair. Monique and Roland coped very well with what was record heat for the mountains.The menu had not varied from the last time we dined there but we just varied our choices. The home cooking is wonderful and is value for money.

Picture dining in the receding early evening light on the wrap-around veranda of a country farmhouse with the paddocks gently rolling away from you to the creek below. Bantering with your french-born host Monique as she captivates you with the eclectic daily menu incorporating the freshest of fresh local produce - much from her and her (chef) husband's own on-site garden. But as a starter I go for the imported snails in the white wine sauce. Everything else is a beautiful surreal blur. My two best aussie restaurant experiences? Tetsuyas and The Farm. At $55 for 3 courses and BYO (no corkage charge) I know which one is going to become my regular.

Home cooked restaurant quality meals in their lounge room. set in a lovely Swiss style farm with wonderful hosts Roland and Monique. The farm is opened for 2 nights on the last weekend of each month. A 3 course menu with lots of choice. The snails and seafood crepe are both delicious.
